I am researching James Guffey who lived in Harrison Co. in the late 1700's or very early 1800's. He was born in 1758 in Maryland and came to Harrison Co via Pa and Ky. His children were Alexander, John, Henry, Betsy, Margaret, Martha, Sally, James, and William. Many left Harrison Co. when adults and James later died in Jackson Co. Sally was married to John Stewart and they both are buried in Harrison Co.
