I hate to sound so totally uninformed, but what, exactly, is roll call? Does everyone or anyone just list the surnames they are researching, in hopes of meeting up with someone else researching the same? Or are the surnames placed on some type of database and preserved for future reference, or what. Thanks -- and again, sorry for being so uninformed. Mary Ruth
