Jacob Smelser resided in Hart county, KY in 1820. He moved to Crawford co, IN before 1830. His children were Jacob Smelser, Isaiah Smelser, Younger Smelser, and possibly David Smelser. There were many others. He would have been between 60 and 70 years old in 1830 and maybe died in Crawford co or Harrison co, IN.
