Barnett and have information connecting even further back, but I can't determine how, when or where Charles died. I have the following on Charles R. Barnett: Father Solomon D. Barnett b. September 15, 1808 (where unknown) d. 1896 in Warrick Co. Indiana, Buried in Barren Fork Cemetery. Married ( place and date unknown) Mary (Polly) Barnett b. 1813 (possibly NC) d. November 1 1892 in Lyona, Hancock Co. KY, Buried Roseville Cemetery, (parents unknown) Charles R. Barnett, Son of Solomon D. and Mary (Polly) Barnett, b. September 14, 1840, Handcock Co. KY, d. (date and location unknown). Married Lucretia Metcalf b. 1843 in Hardin Co. KY, (Father - Charles Medcalf, Mother - Sarah (unknown) Thomas Jefferson Barnett b.May 20, 1864 in Fordsville, Ohio Co. KY, d. October 22, 1947, in Ohio Co. KY, Buried in Morgan Cemetery. This was the only child born to this Charles and Lucretia. Thomas is my Great Grandfather. Lucretia remarried Samual Midkiff April 5, 1866. I would like to fill in the missing information - especially what happened to Charles R.Barnett and why Lucretia remarried.
