I'm looking for anyone with information concerning a George W.(Will) Rodgers. The only info I have is on a certificate from the state of Indiana with Civil War basic information. On this certificate it lists his age as 23 in 1861, putting his birth year in 1838. Nativity is Jefferson, Kentucky. Occupation-farmer. He joined for duty on the 26th day of August, 1861 in the 42nd Regiment, Company C, Indiana Volunteers in Spencer County, Indiana. He was mustered in on the 9th of October in 1861 in Vanderburgh County, Indiana. He was mustered out in Louisville, Kentucky, July 21, 1865. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
