I am trying to solve a mystery about my g.g.grandfather, Samuel Breashear who, once married, lived in Louisville. He was married to someone whose last name had been Upton. They had one child, Edith, born in 1898. When Edith was about 2 or 3 years old, Samuel disappeared. Family rumor says that he had taken a job near the Ohio River there in Louisville and he may have met up with foul play, drowned, or just ran off.
