Here is what I asked for: ". . . am attempting to locate a cemetery in Louisville. The handwritten name on the 1912 death certificate (of my GG grandmother Nancy Troxell) is not fully legible. It reads: Schardin[d] Cem. Not quite sure of the last couple of letter of the name." This is what you all told me: Schardein Cemetery is located on S 7th Street Road just south of Wathen Lane (between Arcade and Homeview). It is a small, inactive cemetery; some say it's cared for some say it is unattended. The cemetery records are kept at 641 Baxter Avenue; ph: (502) 584-5359. I'm in Dayton, OH, and I'll be attempting to find it next month. Some of you were interested in knowing about this cemetery and I'm passing along what I learned. Thanks.
