    1. [KENTUCKIANA-L] Mrs. C. R. Cogswell's 5/25/1923 Article: "Early History of Clark County, Indiana"

    3. I'm trying to figure out the source of Mrs. Cogswell's 5/25/1923 article, "Early History of Clark County, Indiana". I have checked the minutes of the Silver Creek Cemeterial Association (that's my NEXT project) and it's not there. I checked the microfilms for May 1923 for the Evening News and didn't find it. The National Democrat ceased publication before that date. Any other clues? I want to track down the original so I can proof a transcript against the original. Time is beginning to run short for me on the exhaustive history of Silver Creek Baptist Church/Stony Point Christian Church (publication date: 11/2/98), so I'd appreciate hearing from you soon. The Stony Point history will, hopefully, be less than 90 pages with 4 pages of color/b&w pictures from 1914 to the present. It will include over 100 years of previously unpublished church records, from 1798 to at least the end of the 19th Century, including membership rosters, etc. The purchase price has not yet been determined as the final COST has not yet been ascertained. All proceeds will benefit the Stony Point Christian Church Building Fund. The Bicentennial Anniversary of the church (1798-1998) will be on Sunday afternoon, November 22, 1998, at 3:00 at Stony Point Church, featuring a concert by Mike McCoskey and a reception afterwards. Hope you can join us. Regards. Lois
