Am interested in furthering my research on the family of: James McGuire and spouse Catherine Gray, who were married in Crawford County, Indiana on June 2, 1853. I do not have info on his parents; her parents were Thomas Ellis Gray and Sarah Frakes. Catherine was previously married to William Richardson/Richeson of the area, before her marriage to J. McGuire. After McGuire's death at Chickamauga, she married Thomas Haycock of the same area. (Either Crawford or Harrison County, Indiana). The McGuire children: Susanna McGuire, born 1855; Thomas McGuire born 1857; John S. McGuire born 1860; and James F. McGuire born 1862.
