Hi, I have another problem that I need help with. I'am trying to find out if this could be the same person. Here goes it. This is the info I have on Lewis SOUDER & Mary E. Lewis SOUDER [b] 15 Jan 1862/63 [m] Mary E. [b] 15 Dec 1866/67 I found this family on the 1900 Pendleton CO,Ky census listed with 8 children. I found a Lewis SOUDER with his family on the 1880 Pendleton CO,Ky and his parents are listed as, Joseph SOUDER & Mary E . I have a death certifiacte of one child Viola and her husband [ James Daniel NORTH ] has her father as Lewis SOUDER & mother as Elizabeth RIEDENOW I know This is the right death certificate this is my gr. grandmother. Viola's mother is Mary Elizabeth. ***This is what I have on Lewis HALEY & Mary . This is information sent to me by cousin. I have a death certificate for Lewis HALEY [b] 15 Jan 1862 [d] 7 Sept 1925 Covington , Kenton Co,Ky. A death certificate for Mary HALEY [b] 15 Dec 1867 [d] 6 Dec 1923 Covington, Kenton Co,Ky [ I know this is my gr. gr. grandmother her father and mother are the right names ] Lewis HALEY on death certificate has parents listed as Joseph HALEY & Mary PORTER. My cousin has children for the HALEY family listed as 6 . I have the SOUDER family with 8 children. These children that are the same [ in both families ] have the same data as birth. **So I have .** Lewis SOUDER & Lewis HALEY both [b] 15 Jan 1862/63 Both with parents [ Joseph SOUDER & Mary E ] & Joseph HALEY & Mary PORTER ] **Six out of eight childrern in the families are the same with the same data. I haven't found Lewis HALEY & Mary as a family on any records, all I have is what my cousin sent me. I have found Lewis SOUDER & Mary E. on the 1900 Pendleton CO,Ky with eight chlidren. Could Lewis SOUDER & Lewis HALEY be the same MAN. What I can't understand is why a Lewis SOUDER would change his name to Lewis HALEY after 1900 . I'am thinking of the census record [ 1880 & 1900 ] I haven't ben able to find the SOUDER family since 1900 [ Lewis & Mary with children ] If you have any information that might clear this problem up for me, I would like to hear from you.
