Oct 28, 1894, New Albany, Floyd Co., In George Nelson Waldrews, b. August 29, 1906, New Albany, Floyd Co, IN Wilbur G. Waldrews m. Elizabeth A Franz, daughter of William Kolar Franz and Eva Hosea with the following Children: William W Waldrews, b. Jan 24, 1918 New Albany, IN, d. Dec 31, 1992, Louisville, KY George Carl Waldrews, b. Nov 4, 1923 Kentucky, d. Feb 8, 1994, Louisville, KY Eva Waldrews Jesse Waldrews Mildred A Waldrews Libbie M Waldrews, adopted, b. abt 1924, d. March 3, 1951 Libbie and another child, who's name I do not know, were adopted and according to family stories they were the children of Elizabeth Franz's sister. Any information that anyone can provide about this family would be deeply appreciated. I have hit a dead end. It seems that I cannot find the Waldrews surname anywhere in the world except in this area. i have found references to the name Waldrew in Clinton Co., IN and in Canada but cannot tie them to this family.
