Excellent news! The Bicentennial History of Silver Creek Baptist Church (now known as Stony Point Christian Church) just went to the printer! The first batch of copies will be picked up tonight and for those of you who have already placed orders, your copy will go out by Priority Mail early next week. Silver Creek was the first Protestant church in what became the state of Indiana, chartered in Clark County in 1798. The commemorative history is 118+ pages and includes over 100 years of abstracted church records, previously unpublished, indexed by surname. The index alone is six pages long. If you'd like more information, visit: http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Plains/5881/BicentennialNewsRelea se.html Thanks to all of you for your help and encouragement. I've pretty much devoted myself to this project 6 to 8 hours for the last three months (in addition to working 40-45 hours a week) and, after the big Bicentennial Celebration next Sunday, I plan on getting some sleep! :-) Lois
