In the 1860 census of Louisville Ky, we found JOB FREEMAN (49) and REBECCA(42) John (21) Mary(18) James (16) Zachary (14) Elvira(9) Cornelia (6) & Walter (2).We are trying to find any information about the family to determine if the James Freeman (16) is indeed the same as the James Freeman in the 1880 Lavaca Cty Tx census as a schoolteacher, boarder, widower, fever, age 32 born in KY. James Freeman married Fannie Gandy in 1882 and had a daughter Olia in dec.1884. James Freeman married Anna Einkauf in 1887 and had a son LIBY Edmund 1891 (this is my husband's father) and a daughter Letha M. on Jan. 22, 1894 the date of James death in Lavaca Cty Tx. James is buried in Providence Cemetary in Halletsville Tx. All replies appreciated. The names of the youngest children are familiar to a couple of the oldest members of the family. Thank you so much.
