Hello everybody! My experience has been that I find surnames I'm working on in Nelson County, KY and then they drop out of sight for say....20-30 years. Then they show up in1820 in Hardin, Grayson, Breckinridge Cos. Since the 1790-1810 census records aren't available for KY (tax records are next best records) where do we look for say a marriage that takes placel in 1810 for children of those pioneer Nelson Co. settlers? Washington Co? What others? Thanks for your thoughts on this subject. I suppose the same would be true for Lincoln and Fayette Cos.
