I have been researching the 49th Indiana (a Civil War Regiment) for over a year now, and I am still looking for more information on the men of the 49th. We are looking for Photo's, Letters, biographies, Service/Pension Records, ETC, of the men who served with the 49th Indiana. This Regiment was recruited from southern Indiana, including Crawford County.
