These is my first posting and I truly hope that someone can help me. When the home of my parents, Eugene and Jessie Seward, was sold in Jeffersonville, Clark Co. Indiana in the late 1950's, our family Bible disappeared. It contained many names and dates of my ancestors. It was a very large and heavy Bible with a decorated metal (probably brass) top and bottom cover and fastened with a brass hasp. Among the names included would be Seward, McCarty, Irvin and possibly Brewster. If anyone has seen this Bible in an antique shop or in any location, I can't tell you how much the information would mean to me. Martha Seward Snider Sammarty@aol.com
