I have a descendant that was born in 1900 in Jefferson Co. Kentucky. He was adopted officially in 1901 by a nurse. I know both his adopted name and name before adoption, but have been unable to find his birth recorded anywhere. I have an entry marked Board of Childrens Guardians September 4, 1901, date of birth January 11, 1900. Does anyone have an idea where I might uncover information about the above mentioned Board? Any ideas on what to look for next?? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks, Glenn.
