Hi everyone! Just heard about this: If you would like to transcribe an Indiana or Kentucky census but don't have the data check out this site for a FREE book; http://www.skpub.com/genie/ Here is what they said about a free book; SK Publications publishes books of prints of the original census schedules. Many counties in several states are available from 1800-1850 Census Books of prints of the original census schedules. SK Publications has offered to provide a free copy of one of their books containing photocopies of original census pages to those who volunteer to transcribe counties for which they have books. In return, they ask that a notice be put on the uploaded transcription crediting their donation. If you are interested in this offer, please check out their pages and make sure that they have a book for the state and county that you are interested in transcribing. I know that the following books have been requested for transcribing for us: Dubois Co., IN 1850 Hardin Co., KY 1810-1820-1830-1840 If you would be willing to transcribe but don't have access to the records please request a book from this company!!
