I may have sent this before, but I am still at the brick wall: We have an ancestor, John DRUMMOND [?-?] who married on 5 Jan 1833 in Clark Co., IN to Sarah WORK [ca1814-?]. One source shows this John DRUMMOND as the son of John DRUMMOND [?-1811, battle of Tippecanoe] and Rebecca WORK [1792-1867], {Sarah WORK's 3rd cousin}. Another source claims that John DRUMMOND who married Nancy J. ROE 21 Jan 1836 in Clark County was the son of John and Rebecca. Can anyone tell me which John DRUMMOND was the son of John and Rebecca? If John, husband of Nancy ROE was their son, who were parents of John who married Sarah? {These folks could have solved all this if they had been a little more original in their naming practices!} Don McLatchie
