Hello everyone! I just wanted to take a moment to say Happy Veterans day to all of the veterans on this list. You are all very appreciated for your hard work and service to our country. There are a few men I am most proud of for their service. No...it's not a famous general from WWI, or a famous man from the Civil War. They are my Dad; Sgt. David L. Floyd (Vietnam) who served in the heat of battle and made sure weapons and ammunition got to the front lines where it was needed and who was wounded in action, My grandpas; Pvt. 1st Class Joseph Victor Cooper (WWII), who received a Bronze Star for his heroic actions against the enemy, and who passed away when I was only 4, and Private 1st Class Ulysis Lamar Floyd (WWII) who, after serving his country as a medic, came home and raised his four children by himself. There are many others in my lines......Pvt. Alexander Gilmore (Rev. War), Capt. John Pipes (Rev. War) to name only two. To all of you who have served our country proud, and fought for the freedom we all enjoy today.....Thank you!!
