Hi all, This is my first request and i really need some help with finding this person, JAMES SAMUEL FREEMAN.He is supposed to have been born in Jefferson Cty Ky . We find him in 1880 census in lavaca cty, Tx as age 32, boarder, schoolteacher, fever, widower, ky birthplace. He marries FANNIE GANDY in 1882 and has a daughter OLIA FREEMAN in 1884. JAMES marries ANNA EINKAUF in 1887 and has a son LIBY EDMOND FREEMAN in1891 and a daughter LETHA M.FREEMAN on Jan. 22, 1894 the date of JAMES FREEMAN'S death and her birth. We are trying to find him in OHIO with a first wife and child who die and he comes to TX. My husband is the 9th of 10 children by LIBY E.FREEMAN and WINNIE B.EASON in Colorado cty Tx. Family story and his 1880 census say Kentucky is home. Can you help us find his family there about 1830-1860 ? It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Marjorie and Kenneth Freeman Conroe, Tx
