Hello, I hope I am sending this to the right person, if not I'm sorry for bothering you! After reading your post that mentioned George Detchen's parents and grandparents. You mentioned that "Sarah Browning) was born in Chicago, Ill., married George Detchen and spent her life in Louisville, Ky." In the 1880 Census the Detchen name was mispelled Ditchen. The grandparents were from Germany and Henry b. OH. Henry DETCHEN married Anna GOSS ca 1860s, don't know where! They lived in Louisville, KY on West 16th St. Henry owned a retail grocery store. They had four or five children, four boys for sure: William, Henry, Louie, and Charles found in the 1880 Census of Louisville, Jefferson Co. KY.
