For Michele, Thank so much for the information from the census. All of those people you mentioned spelled their names with two T's. I know the census workers were not always as accurate as we would have liked them to be. I found her on the 1860 census and she was 18 yrs old which would have been just about right and the name was spelled with one T. Haven't been able to find her on any other census.
