Well, the purpose of those archives is to have a record of our queries and discussions on the list. The archives are browseable and searchable. My gut feeling is that not one single person will ever enter the search terms "My Family", "Most Wanted" or "Digest 242", etc. That means that no one searching for THEIR family ties will find YOUR family ties! Please take a minute before you hit the send button and make sure the subject line has at least ONE surname in it.
