Hi Everyone, Today I went to the Ky History Center (KHS) here and they have on display a few artifacts from a 200 year old cemetery that a construction company unexpectedly unearthened right in the middle of Frankfort last year, while building the new Transportation Cabinet building. This was an old cemetery of about 200 graves.They believe it was the "orginial" Frankfort Cemetery. No one seems to know why or how it became FORGOTTEN, but it did!   What moved me the most about the display, was the condition of the teeth these people had back then. They had more absesses than you can imagine.  Can you imagine having a horrible tooth ache and either couldn't afford a dentist or there were none around? Whew!! Wow  No wonder so many drank moonshine or whisky. I can see it happening. Lynda Combs Gipson Frankfort, Ky
