    3. Hi Vicki, I don't know if there's a link to the census or not, but I looked up George W. and George Gentry today in the 1850 and 1860 KY census. Here is what I found: 1850 Graves Co Ky, page 465 house589, family 589, lines 8-14 **George is living in the Bruce(?) household*** (I can hardly read this, so I am just going to give you the Gentry info, if you'd like to try to decipher it yourself, you can send me your snailmail addy and I will send it out Mon or Tues...Sorry) line 14 George Gentry, 16, M, Apprentice [G.W. Bruce is a Blacksmith], KY In 1860, there are two George Gentry's listed. One in Jefferson Co, page 035, but I couldn't find it on the page. I looked on page 34 and 36 and nothing. The other was in Rockcastle Co, page 516-517: -page 516 house 433, family 422, lines 37-40 John Gentry, 40, M, Farmer, RE 822, PE 715, KY Franken (Fraukay?) Gentry, 35, F, KY Henry C. Gentry, 15, M, KY, Attended school James M. Gentry, 14, M, KY, attended school -page 517 house 433 family 422 lines 1-4- J. George W. Gentry, 5, M, KY M.A. Adams, 8, F?, Orphan, KY, attended school John J. Bloomer, 18, M, farmer, PE 200, Tenn, married within year Zelphia Bloomer, 28, F, KY, married within year If you can get a better lead on that Jefferson Co George, I will be happy to try again. It just wasn't on the page or close to the page listed in the index. I have hard copies if you'd like them, Karen [email protected] wrote: > Is there a URL for Jefferson Co., KY census for 1850-1860? > Searching for GEORGE W.
