I am looking for any information on James STEWART(born 1788 VA) and his wife Mildred (born 1792 VA) who were listed in the Spencer Co,KY 1850 Census with children (?) Harriet (age 17 KY) and Alexander (age 12 KY). Harriet was born 8 July 1833 in Kentucky and about 1854 married Joseph POULTER in Brown Co,Indiana. Their son Joseph Randall POULTER was my great-great grandfather. In the 1850 Census in Spencer Co,KY living next door to James and Mildred was an Anderson STEWART age 32,his wife Nancy age 28, and their daughter Lucy Ann. I thought this might be another son or maybe a nephew as there is another STEWART (Charles age 54) listed in same census. Are James and Charles brothers? Names of some of Charles children were,Uriah,Harriet,James P,and Tabitha. I think there may have been one or two more,but I can't recall the names at this time. I am hoping to find out where this group came from in Virginia. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Cindy Fregoe
