Does anyone know of an access to information to old police rosters? I have relatives that I've been told were Louisville City policemen. One of them, JAMES A. MAPLES is listed in the City directory as POLICE for the years of 1917-1920. I've been told that he lost an eye in the line of duty. In 1921 and from there on, he is listed at jobs other than POLICE. I'm interested to know if there may have been an article to the incident, an exact date of the incident or anything else relating to his police records. The other one, J. LUTHER MAPLES is listed as POLICE on the 1919-1923 directories. Any and all help or suggestions are gratefully excepted and appreciated. Carole in CA
