William's parents were from North Carolina, and Rosanna's parents were from Kentucky. We don't have names, dates, or places for the parents. The family was sympathetic to the South in the Civil War. This Stone's age, place of birth, and name (also name of 1st male child of William) may be somewhat compelling clues as to this being William's father??
