Hello List Viewers, Searching for any and all information on Lula "Jackson" Bailey. I am told she is listed in Magoffin Co. 1900 Census as living with Polly Jackson (Mary "Pop" Minix Jackson), age 68, and that she was 14 yrs. old and born April 1886. I am also told that in Magoffin Marriages she is listed as marrying Riley Bailey on Feb. 28, 1901 and that one of the witnesses was Estill Jackson, who is elsewhere listed by individuals doing research on the Bailey family lines as Lula's father. I know that Estill was the son of "Polly" (or Mary Pop Minix) listed above as Lula's residence in the census. My question is this: I am a descendant of Estill Jackson and Rennie Vanderpool. They were my great grandparents. However the only children that I have ever known of them having were: 1. Maude, 2. Warren P. 3. Butler K., 4. Harry, and 5. Leemire. I have no records of them having a daughter named Lula and can only assume that if Estill was her father, she was born from a previous marriage or union. If anyone can give me any information regarding this, it would be greatly appreciated.
