Listmembers: Let have a roll call and get some queries on our list. Roll Call to begin on Tuesday,July 31 at 6am --Sunday, August 5th at midnight. Most of you long standing subbers know what a roll call is, but for the benefit of the new subbers: This is just my way of generating some list activity, as nobody gets any answers if there are no posts. As everyone knows there are just a few guidelines to follow for our roll calls: 1. DO NOT PLACE THE WORDS "ROLL CALL" IN THE SUBJECT LINE. 2. DO NOT HIT THE REPLY BUTTON, ADDRESS IT TO THE LIST. (Hitting the reply sends it back to me, and then nobody sees it). 3. Include in your subject line: Name of the person(s)//time frame (if known)//location 4. Be specific in your queries 5. For your own benefit, DON'T just send a query that says "Looking for SAMSON surname". 6. Include as much info in the body of the query as you can for the best possible results. 7. Capitalize your SURNAMES within the text so that they stand out to others. 8. Answer whatever queries you can, IF you have info...please don't just answer to say "I don't know". Good Luck and I hope everyone makes a connection. Remember, this runs from Tues. July 31--Sunday August 5th.
