Let me add some caution as to the information on Ancestry.Com. In searching some of their marriage records for Claiborne County, TN they have no Kings listed. However there may have been as many as 10 or more King marriages that should have been listed. Could they have omitted data on their other data bases? YES. So whenever possible, local records still need to be researched because of possible transcription errors and omissions. What bothered me the most was the fact that I was ignored when I tried to inform them of their error in the Claiborne County Marriages. I received some form email that did not address the problem at all. When I replied to their response, I still received a form email that did not respond to the problem. So I quit responding. I suppose they disregard any errors. Yes, I still have a subscription to ancestry.com. The difference is now I do not assume their data bases to be correct or complete. I use it as a source, but not a reliable one. Doyle King
