EDWARD and MARILLA had the following children: l. JAMES ELLSWORTH BROWN b. 25 April 1882 Anderson Co. KY d. 21 Nov. 1918 Simpson Co. KY. m. BERTHA LANE 23 Oct. 1903. b. 29 July 1880 Anderson Co. KY. d. 9 Feb 1950 Robertson Co. TN. buried in Greenlawn Cemetery, Simpson Co. Franklin, KY. They had 8 children 2. HOLLY EVERETT BROWN b. 9 Sept 1885 Anderson Co. KY d. 23 Nov. 1918 single 3. WILLIE? or perhaps WILLIAM. Haven't been able to find any info on him as yet. 4. CHARLES ERVIN BROWN b. 24 July 1895 KY. d. 6 Jan. 1981. m. MATTIE STROTHER. 2 boys and an adopted/foster daughter. CHARLES and MATTIE lived in Sumner Co. Portland, TN. They are both buried in Maple Hill Cemetery in Portland. MARILLA A. BROWN is buried in the Mitchelville General Baptist Church Cemetery. d. 1945 JAMES ELLSWORTH BROWN, his daughter ELLA MAY BROWN and his brother HOLLY EVERETT BROWN all died within a day of each other during the 1918 influenza epidemic. The 3 of them and EDWARD D. BROWN are buried in Auburn, KY. Perhaps Auburn Cemetery. I have not been able to confirm this, nor do I know if they have headstones on their graves. (I live in Colorado). So if someone has access to some kind of cemetery records maybe you could do a lookup for me in Auburn, KY. Also, would like to know if Edward D. Brown had any siblings: Maiden name of Elizabeth, and the parents of Marilla A. Thompson Brown.
