I have hit a brick wall and need some help in tracking my family history.... My family mainly lived in Pike Co. Ky., in the area known today as Shelbiana, Greasy Creek or known as Alka, Ky. many years ago.... If any of you can help me or send me in the right direction, I would forever be indebted to you :-)) .... I will list my deadends here: I need to trace each of these individuals back farther. Henry Doc married Hannah Adkins (??) and their children were: Hawkins, Epp, Louis, Louizzie (louisa), Eveline (Evelyn), Syldria (Cerildie), Priceann, & Mose Adkins who married Nancy Adkins. Mose was born 2-12-1879 @ Alka, Ky. and D: 10-14-1956. His wife Nancy was born: 10-28-1881 (buried at rockhouse, Ky.). Her parents are: William D. Adkins (b: 4-1856) and Francis Adkins (b: 3-19-1865) ******I need to know thier parents infor too********* THeir Children were: John L. Frankie Blair Jim Spears Md. Margret Rowes and Frankie Adkins Adam (blind of claucoma) md. Maudy Gillespie Kenis md. Mattie Kinney Merdie married John Gillispie Cinda married Emmett Adkins Vernie Pearl md. Kenne Charles Damron (K.C.) ________----------------------------------------------- I have my childers and Cantrell's traced back to these people: Pleasant Childers, (son of ??????) b: 1761, Buckingham Co. Va. D: 4-25-1839? He married: Sarah "Sally" Jeffries (dauther of????) b: abt. 1765, Buckinham Co., Va and D: aug. 10-1843 in Pike. They were married on:4-16-1785 Their Children were: Lucy, Elizabeth, Jesse, Nathaneal, Sally, Flemon (born: abt. 1800 in KY, and maybe even a Jr. Childers ------------------------------------------------------- That is as far back as I have went on my father's family.
