One of my long-distance brick walls has been Paul Hoye and his wife Hannah Hamden Hoye. They were born in Maryland (around 1790) married in DC in Jan 1816, but moved to a farm in Floyd Co (New Albany township) between 1816 and 1820. Paul Hoye died between 1824 and 1830, but Hannah lived on the farm with her 4 children (2 boys and 2 girls in the 1830 census) until after 1840. She was living alone in Jeffersonville, Clark Co, IN in 1850 (per the census) and died before 1860 (as near as I can tell). My question concerns the names of her 4 children. I think the elder daughter was Agnes and younger son was Paul, but I don't know the name of the elder son or the younger daughter. I believe that the elder son is my gr gr gr grandfather.
