Looking for birth date and place of Sanford S. Saxon. May have been Baptist Minister. Born about 1825 somewhere in Ala., Tenn. or Georgia. Don't have parents, sibs or first wife's names. Married Maranza Adams of N. Car. in Ala. in 1860. Died in Fayette Co., Texas in 1873. Any Saxons out there? May have had indian blood, possibly Melungeon. Sure need help with this one. thank you.
