I have a marriage license for a couple who were residents of Louisville, KY who was married 1886 in Clark Co, IN. There is no personal information at all listed on the license. I also have copies of marriage bonds dated 1901 from Louisville, KY, again with no personal information. I know that marriage bonds were required in KY and IN. I know that some people "eloped" to Clark County from Louisville. If residents of Louisville, KY went to Clark Co, IN in 1886 to marry, would they have had to fill out any papers anywhere? I have had two very nice ladies try to find "supplemental" records for me in IN and they were unsuccessful. Can anyone advise me on where to try to find any additional records in KY and/or IN?
