Hi, my name is Kathy, and I'm new to this list. I'm researching my husband's lineage in Kentucky. His great-grandparents were Thomas H. and Nannie Faulconer. Thomas H. was born in Fayette Co. KY, married Nannie and raised his family there. By 1900, Nannie was a widow and was living in Louisville, KY with her children. One of their sons, Raymond Byrum Faulconer, is my husband's grandfather. He changed the spelling of the family's surname from Faulconer to Faulkner between 1917 and 1920. I'm attempting to trace Thomas H. and Nannie's lineage back prior to 1860 in an attempt to learn who their parents and siblings were. Any information on this family line would be greatly appreciated.
