I'm a descendant of Alexander and Mary Williamson. They lived is Breckenridge County, KY in the 1830s. I've seen documents and information on line naming Mary, Mary Potter Williamson and Mary Potter Martin Williamson. I'm not sure if my cousins are certain about the accuracy of the Potter and Martin names in relation to Mary. There was a Marmaduke Williamson living in the vicinity at the same time. I'm wondering if he was Alexander's father, brother or cousin? There was a Joseph Ball who surveyed the 1600 acres that belonged to Alexander and Mary. I'm curious about if Joseph Ball was from the same line as Mary Ball Washington? The property was first granted to Jacob Frank. Id' like to learn as much as possible about the history of the people who were connected to the property. If there are descendants of any of these people who have any knowledge reading this, I'd really appreciate a response. Thanks!
