Miss Elizabeth's Civil War Reenactors-- http://abcgenealogy.com/cgi-bin/ links/jump.cgi?ID=272 (type one line) To repeat, Ancestry.com is the best in my opinion;Genealogy site on the net. Its http://www.ancestry.com. They will give you I think a 14 day free trial and after that there is a yearly fee. It is easy and it will show you "hits" and or information on the ancestor that you are looking for. Just put the name in the right slot. There is always Civil War information listed there if it pertains' to your ancestor. Usually lists Regiment, Unit, rank Confederate or Union and that type of information. It also has census information which in Genealogy is proof of facts. I use it to verify facts and information. In closing, I hope these Civil War sites will provide you with some information that you can use. Any mistakes, sorry. Have a good one, "Out Genealogy Hunting"! Confederately yours, Marilyn Dunn Carothers [email protected] POST # 3
