As far as I Know there was only one asylum Kentucky in 1950 in Lousiville. My grandfather and both of his sisters ended up there from what we believe was Bipolar Disorder. This Asylum is still there and you can still order records from them if they still have them. I want to say this Asylums name is Louisville Cental Asylum but am not for sure. But I do believe it is located in a phone book of that area.
