I would like to know if the Parental Home & School in Louisville became the Louisville & Jefferson County Children's Home during the 1920's. I believe that I have found my grandmother in the 1920 Federal Census. She is listed as an inmate at the Parental Home & School for Children in the Anchorage Precinct of Louisville. I remember her telling stories of being placed in an orphanage when her mother died. I have tried to search for the Parental Home & School, but have found no other references to it. The Louisville & Jefferson County Children's Home is listed as being in the Anchorage Precinct for the 1930 Census, but there is no listing for the Parental Home & School.
