Dos anyone know anything about a poor house in Madison, Indiana, or a hospital for people with mental problems? Would there be records for such a place if there is one? My mom tought her grandfather ended up a the poor house in Madison or near there-he must have had alzheimers or something of the sort in the 20's or 30's? thanks, Roslyn
I would enjoy knowing this also. Although mine would be waaaay earlier than that. Was there a county asylum there as far back as the 1850s?
