    3. Friends, Kentuckianians, countrymen! Lend me your ears! Does anyone remember my little sermon about the archives? Well, the purpose of those archives is to have a record of our queries and discussions on the list. The archives are browseable and searchable. My gut feeling is that not one single person will ever enter the search terms "My Family", "Most Wanted" or "Digest 242", etc. That means that no one searching for THEIR family ties will find YOUR family ties! Please take a minute before you hit the send button and make sure the subject line has at least ONE surname in it. A date, time frame or location are real pluses but at least make sure to include the main surname you're looking for. Thanks for your attention! I appreciate your patience! Pat Mount List Admin

    1. Most Wanted
    2. William Bonner
    3. It has now been so long since we started this round robin, that I've forgotten whether I put a name down with my own surname or that of the elusive Kentuckians. Anyhow, here goes for both myself and my wife. Hugh McCracken, b. abt 1795, probably Bourbon County. He married Ann Prather, 27 Feb 1816 in Bourbon County. Moved to Decatur County, Indiana, where he died, 13 April 1861. Need to figure out if his father was Cyrus McCracken. Oliver Badger Williams, b. 1807 (probably Oct 18) in Montgomery County, to Nancy Taylor Williams and unknown Williams. He moved to Putnam County, IN, and died 4 Feb 1871. Which Williams was his father? Any kin to the Rawley or Raleigh Williams family that was prominent in that part of the county, north of Mt. Sterling? Bill ===== William J.
