I am looking for information on Thomas CARR from southern Indiana. He married Susan STONE on November 17, 1853 in Clark County, IN. My ggrandmother, Sarah Elizabeth CARR CARTER was born on 10/26/1853. They also add a son, John. According to a statement signed by Sarah Elizabeth and her husband, Edward Allen Mosby CARTER Thomas Carr died when she was five years old--c. 1858. A year later Susan or Jane married a man named either, John, Jum, or Dave HAYES. He had three boys by a previous marriage. They had two girls and a boy. The two girls were born in Clark County, IN. Mary HAYES on April 10, 1868 and Anna HAYES on May 10, 1870. I do not have abirth date or place for George HAYES. Mary and Anna were placed in an orphanage in Louisville, KY. They were later taken out of the orphanage by one of their stepbrothers and raised in Illinois. They didn't know what happened to their parents or George. Any help you can give me on information about these relatives would be greatly appreciated. Rockall@aol.com
