Hi folks, Any help with this family would be appreciated. I am just getting started with this line, and most of what I have comes from family sources. Since Ella was born in 1883, I won't be able to find her in the 1890 census--so I would really appreciate any help on this family. Ella Raisor was born about 1883 (according to her tombstone) proabably in Taylorsville, Spencer, KY. She died 27 Mar 1930 Nelson co KY, and is buried at Little Union Bapt ch, Fairfield, Spencer,KY. Her death certificate, which I haven't yet tried to obtain is number 016-07640-30 (Spencer county). She married John C Daily, sometime before 1903. He was son of William Daily and Laura Emmeline West of Oldham & Spencer counties. After Ella's death, John C Daily remaried to Betty Hardin. Also buried Little Union are: Wm Raisor 1829-1912; Susan Raisor 1842-1910; Edd Raisor 1868-1918; Mary E Raisor 1922-1931; Fronie K Raisor 1893-1942; Daniel Raisor 1879-1974; Walter 4/5/1920-2/2/1971. Ella had brother named "June" (a nickname for Junior, perhaps?), who died 4/1/1970 Taylorsville? Had children: Thomas (called "Thumb"), and William Lloyd (called "Willie"). Among some of the names in the sympathy book at Ella's funeral are Lonnie Raisor and Charles Raisor--We think they were nephews of June Raisor, but we aren't sure.

Listmembers: I am noticing with all the submission for the surname registry on our Kentuckiana site that many persons are sending me names in counties that are not covered in the "our" Kentuckiana searching area. Now, don't get me wrong, I don't care if you wish to post these names on our list, but I want to make certain that people are aware of there being little chance of a connection as nobody researching those counties would be on our list. The counties covered within our list range are: IN counties--Clark,Crawford,Dubois, Floyd, Gibson, Harrison, Perry, Pike, Posey, Orange, Spencer, Scott, Warrick and Washington. KY counties---Breckinridge, Bullitt, Carroll, Hardin, Jefferson, Meade, Nelson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer, and Trimble.
