    1. [KENTUCKIANA] Reilly/Riley/Reilley Clark Co. IN.
    2. PAT MILLER
    3. 3 of my great grandfather's siblings were in Jeffersonville, Clark Co., IN on the 1880 census.  There is a 20 yr laps until the 1900 when only two were there.  Then only one and I know when he died, but not where he is buried.  On the 1880 census there was Pamela Reilly (Permelia before) age 31, Cassandra Reilly and Calvin Reilly.  Pamela disappears before the 1900 census, but Cassie (Cassandra) and Calvin were still there.  Then somewhere I found Calvin by himself on either the 1910 or 1920 census. I have a newspaper obituary about him dying in the early 1920s, but nothing on his sisters.Their father died in 1875 in middle Illinois and was taken back to Hart Co.,, KY to be buried. Don't know where he was buried. My great grandfather was Patrick B. Reilley (spelled many ways), his father was Thomas Reilley born 1803 somewhere in South Carolina; Patrick B's mother was Edith (Eda, Ede) Cook.   I am trying to trace Cassandra and Permelia only.  Most of the other's I already know about. I'd like to know where Calvin was buried.I've asked about this years ago, but still have nothing new for my records.Pat MillerDallas, TX

    1. [KENTUCKIANA] Clark County, IN and the Rileys
    2. PAT MILLER
    3. Hello,I'm back to researching my Riley family who moved from Hart or Larue County, KY to Clark Co., INdiana shortly before 1880.  Pamula (Permelia) Riley and Cassie Riley were living with their brother Calvin Riley in Clark County, IN on the 1880 census.  By the 1900 census Pamula (Permelia) was gone and it just Cassie (Cassandra) and Calvin.  On the 1910 it was just Calvin and thereafter no one.  I know Calvin's death occured shortly after 1910 and have an obituary for him. But, what happened to his sisters?  These would be my great grandfather's brother and sisters.  We have lost most of the family except my direct line of Patrick B. Reilley or Riley and wife Mary Hodges;Married during the Civil War in Larue Co., KY.  I can follow Patrick's kids., but not his brother's or sisters.Pat MillerDallas,TX

    3. I'm seeking information on the following family: Andrew Jackson Johnson born 1815 in KY or Virginia. Married Mahala Shepherd in 1855 in Louisville, Kentucky. They moved to Hardin County where Andrew died in 1895 and Mahala died in 1903. She was a member of the Shaker Colony in Harrodsburg. Her parents are Elijah Shepherd and Catharine Marshall. Elijah and Catharine were married in 1820 in Mason County, KY. I know nothing else about Andrew Jackson Johnson or Elijah Shepherd. ----- Original Message ----- From: [email protected] To: "kentuckiana" <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, August 12, 2018 4:00:36 AM Subject: KENTUCKIANA Digest, Vol 13, Issue 14 Send KENTUCKIANA mailing list submissions to [email protected] To subscribe or unsubscribe via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to [email protected] You can reach the person managing the list at [email protected] When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific than "Re: Contents of KENTUCKIANA digest..." 3. Hello-I would hate it if this list were to be removed. I think that since it was off line for so long, people just forgot about checking and posting. I am researching the MILLS Family of Shelby Co, Kentucky & Clark Co., Indiana. I know my John Mills b. ca 1782-84 in ?NY was in Shelby Co, KY, where two of his children were born in 1815 & 1817. By 1820 he and his family were in Clark Co, IN. Although common, I have not seen that this family ever spelled their name MILES. Additionally, some branches of this family found their way to Fayette, Breckenridge, Knox Counties in KY and/or Sullivan, Scott, Tipton and possibly Vanderburg Counties in IN, if for only briefly. I interested in any MILLS gents found in Shelby Co, in the late 1700s and early 1800s. Thanks for your help. Merri
