I have been looking through pages of parish records looking for the baptism of Augusta Tapley b. 1820-1823. In every census it says she's from Chatham, Kent. Her father is James. She married John Brown July 16, 1843 in Milton next Gravesend. I've searched Chatham records 1819-1825 with no mention of any TAPLEY family. I've also searched Rainham (she's there in 1841) and Gillingham with no success. Does anyone have any other suggestions where to search. Thanks for any help. Catherine
