Hallo I don't know why they won't work but they don't. I don't use a Mac of any sort. I have pulled out one of the CDs. Under system requirements it says the following: "Note: This product requires registration before use and is designed for use on *one computer only*. You must have your operating syste installed on the "C" drive of your PC." The emphasis is theirs. Further on it says: "Personal Use Licence Opening this product means you are agreeing to the following conditions: This product can only be used for personal research by the original purchaser. This excludes commercial use, library use, loan, provision of a lookup service or print service. Breach of the above conditions may result in legal action. If you feel unable to comply, return the product for a refund. This product is non-transferable." Do you know what they might have done to stop the CDs working on another machine? There must be lots of people who bought CDs from them then bought a new computer. Connie in London
