Thomas Smart married Charlotte Dalton on 13 May 1782 at St Peter + St Paul Church, Gravesend. I have been told that Thomas had been born about 1747 at Milton by Gravesend and that his father was Thomas born in Kent about 1720 but I don't know the name of his mother. I have also been told that Charlotte was born at Gravesend about 1758 and that her father was John Dalton born in Kent about 1730. I also don't know the name of Charlotte's mother. David, Sorry I can't help with the mothers names. LDS has Charlotte baptised at Gravesend 4 Aug 1758 and this is confirmed by looking at the register images at Cityark.
